We just got the news that the Holy Father, Pope Francis has appointed Monsignor Moses Hamungole, as Bishop of Monze. It is good news for all of us. Congratulations to Monze Diocese and to the bishop-elect.
The consecration will take place on 3 May 2014 in Monze.

Priests, Sisters and Christians convened at St. Joseph’s Cathedral for the Holy Mass marking the end of the Year of Faith on 23 November. The principal celebrant was Archbishop Ignatius Chama, the Apostolic Administrator.

In a special mass presided over by the Apostolic Administrator, Archbishop Ignatius Chama, a multitude of women from all over the Diocese gathered in St. Joseph’s Cathedral and presented a special gift to the ordinary.
